Torex Introduces Low Power LDO With Ultra Low Quiescent Current
The XC6502 Series of low dropout regulators from Torex Semiconductor provides an ultra low quiescent current of only 1.0µA. Available in industry standard SOT-23 and SOT-89 packages, these devices are particularly well-suited for power sensitive applications.
The Manufactured using Torex’s CMOS process, the XC6502 retains all of the features that are common to low dropout regulators including a reference voltage source, an error amplifier, current limit circuit, and a phase compensation circuit plus a driver transistor. The foldback current limit circuit also operates as the output current limiter (300mA max) and the output pin protector.
