HCS high current metal shunt for e-bike power systems
Stackpole has announced a new high current metal shunt for e-bike power systems and similar applications. As power electronics evolve, the requirements for high current, low resistance sensing resistors continues to increase. Emerging applications, such as electric bikes and scooters may require high power, high accuracy, and low thermal resistance. These are a difficult combination for many traditional sense resistor technologies. However, Stackpole’s HCS series provides high power, precise sensing and low thermal resistance.
Power Integrations new wide-creepage switcher IC
Power Integrations has introduced a wide-creepage package option for its InnoSwitch3-AQ flyback switcher IC for automotive applications.
A wide drain-to-source-pin creepage distance of 5.1 mm eliminates the need for conformal coating, making the IC compliant to the IEC60664-1 standard in 800 V vehicles while simplifying manufacturing and increasing system reliability.
Vishay 600V solid-state relay in SOP-4 package
Vishay Intertechnology has introduced a 1 Form A solid-state relay offering a 600V load voltage and isolation voltage of 3,750 VRMS in the low profile SOP-4 package. Designed to deliver fast switching for energy storage, industrial and mobility applications, the Vishay Semiconductors VOR1060M4 provides a fast turn-on time of 0.3ms typical and low leakage current of 2nA.

The Model HVMA03F40C-ST10S flyback transformer is specifically designed to support high power density and greater efficiency in a compact form factor. Understanding the ongoing power-density support requirements of today’s automotive, industrial, and energy storage designs, Bourns continues to release families of high isolation flyback and gate drive transformers with expanded capabilities.
