Three ranges of surface mount (SMD) DC-DC converters

The ISB series provides 1W of output power, the ISC 3W and the ISX is a 6W converter. The small size of the converters takes up less PCB space, giving designers more room to add extra features, alternatively to reduce the overall size of their end product. The ISB is a 18.9x17.2x8.7mm, the ISC measures just 24.00x18.10x8.25mm, and the ISX comes in at 25.4x22.0x10.2mm.

Aimed at board mounted designs in mobile, telecom, portable and battery powered systems that need small SMD components and require isolation and regulation between the input and output, the converters offer a high isolation voltage of 1,500VDC.

Featuring extended operating temperature ranges, the ISC and ISX series operate over -40°C to 100°C, while the ISB is rated from -40°C to 95°C.

Offering 4:1 and 2:1 input voltage ranges, the converters are suitable for applications with inputs ranging from 5-75VDC. Comprising single and dual output models for versatility, various combinations of single output models from 3.3 to 24VDC and dual output models with ±5, ±9, ±12, ±15 and ±24VDC are available.

Specific areas and applications for the converters include automation and process control, broadcast, fixed telecom, instrumentation, networking/datacom/computing, mobile communications and in specialist equipment.
