The newly designed circuit has a new built-in PWM control IC which brings the max. output wattage up to 52 watts, under natural cooling environments, from 3.3V, 5V, 7.5V, 12V, 15V, 24V, 30V and 48V outputs. With 105°C capacitor built-in, the power unit works with wide range operating temperature from -20°C to +70°C and the new mechanical design hexagonal cover makes for low air flow resistance and better cooling.

The input voltage range is from 88V ~ 264VAC or 125V ~375VDC, fit for the variety of voltage requirements of the world. The output voltage is ±10% adjustment and the power consumption is less than 0.5Watts, at no load condition, and the efficiency is up to 86% max.

SPS-G050 series is designed with OVP (over voltage protection), OLP (over load protection) and Short Circuit Protection. The Short Circuit Protection goes into hiccup mode, once the faulty condition is removed the power supply will Auto-Recover. The OLP is shutdown mode, once fault condition removed the power unit will Auto-Recover. The OVP has shutdown mode but via re-power on.

To satisfy the different potential applications, SPS-G050 is made to meet/comply with EN61000-3-2 class A standard (The available input voltage range of SPS-G050 model is from 100 to 240VAC.) and will be certified to UL, cUL, CB and TUV EN60950-1 : 2006 (newest safety version) soon. The new CE directive Conformity (LVD 2006/95/EC and EMC 2004/108/EC) is available now.

The application fields for SPS-G050 included logic control circuit designing, automatic control systems, industrial control systems, test equipment, printers, POS systems, display systems, franking machines and gambling machines.
