SCHURTER is introducing a new choke family tailored for energy applications requiring exceptionally high power on the PCB.

The DKUH-1 current-compensated chokes are engineered to handle currents of up to 100 A and a rated voltage of up to 800 VDC.

The trend towards increasingly compact designs extends beyond just powerful energy applications. What was once conventionally wired now finds space on the circuit board. This denser layout, coupled with enhanced energy efficiency, results in heightened electromagnetic interference within modern electronic devices. Consequently, robust filter elements are imperative.

DKUH-1 = Exceptional Performance

The DKUH-1 chokes, featuring bifilar winding and nanocrystalline cores, enable remarkably high currents within compact dimensions. These chokes can be directly mounted onto the PCB and soldered using a wave bath. Their open design facilitates optimal cooling, whether passive or active. Therefore, the DKUH-1 family members are well-suited for high-power applications in the energy sector, accommodating voltages of up to 800 VDC.

Applications

The new high-current chokes are perfectly suited for energy-intensive applications like EV fast-charging stations, battery storage, photovoltaics, or energy converters. Additionally, they offer an excellent solution for various high-power industrial applications.
