PWX is a new series of CVCC DC power supply suitable for either rack or bench use. For rack system efficiency, the form-factor is only 1U high in a 19-inch width. Close stacking on top of each other is achieved by cooling that runs from the front to the back. PWX series comes with USB, RS-232C, and LAN interfaces as standard, essential for system upgrades. Complete with virtual multi-channel bus function that allows it to be used efficiently for remote control and monitoring with 1-to-N and as well as with N-to-M in large-scale networks.

A notable LAN interface feature is its LXI compliance, enabling you to monitor and control your power supplies easily from a browser on a PC, smartphone, or tablet, for example, for managing your systems of power supply from another location.

Powerful yet simple configuration via PWX’s LAN interface

You can simply connect a PC or route via a hub using a LAN connection. You can create a virtual group using the VMCB features: up to 255 virtual groups can be set, and the maximum number of units can be configured up to 31 units per group. A group can have a mixture of models.

Easy active-monitoring and live-control with PWX’s built in web server

PCs and many smartphone or tablet browsers can also be used to access the web server built into the PWX series for convenient control and monitoring.

PWX offers wide voltage and current combinations within its output power rating (a factor of three across the range). For example, the 1500 W output power model PWX1500ML operates seamlessly across the range of ‘80 V-18.75 A’ to ‘26.8 V-56 A’.

Sequence Creation Application Software SD013-PWX (Wavy for PWX)

Your applications for automated testing can be achieved with Wavy for PWX. This optional application software allows you to create and edit sequence data easily using a mouse!
