The single-output switching regulated AC/DC and DC/DC power supplies provide up to 288W of output power and operate from a universal input of 90-265VAC, 49-420Hz, single phase, or 110-350VDC. The devices offer outstandng load regulation and overall stability, along with low output ripple and noise less than or equal to 150mV RMS typical. The series consists of both forced-air and convection-cooled fanless models. The forced-air units are available with either one or two fans, depending on output power, and measure 43.18x88.9x244.92mm. Convection-cooled devices eliminate audible/ambient noise and vibration, while measuring 43.18x88.9x223.52.

Acopian Power Supplies' narrow profile, small footprint devices support outstanding current limiting capabilities, and are used in a wide array applications in which high inrush currents occur. The supplies are most frequently employed in manufacturing, automotive, oil exploration and refineries, power generation and distribution, and the railroad industries. The narrow profile modules are available with 39 output voltages ranging from 3.3 to 125VDC, with a ±0.5V or ±1V user-adjustment range depending on selected model. Output voltage is adjusted by an external 1K potentiometer or the provided internal potentiometer.

The power supplies feature PFC of 0.99 at 115VAC, 60Hz and full load for compliance with EN61000-3-2. Additional electrical specifications include 0.05% typical line regulation and 0.05% typical load regulation.

Acopian's Narrow Profile series of single-output switching regulated AC/DC and DC/DC power supplies support power-saving efficiency up to 81% and an ambient operating temperature range of 0 to +71°C. They incorporate PFC, soft-start and cold-start functions, input overvoltage and undervoltage protection, output overvoltage protection, overload/short circuit protection with automatic recovery, output inhibit, internal EMI filtering, RFI shielding, remote sensing and thermal protection. A green LED output indicator is lit when the supply is on (DC).

A metal case encloses all circuitry to provide EMI shielding, and an AC input filter attenuates both common and differential mode noise conducted to the line. The power supplies are delivered with threaded mounting holes to permit mounting to a chassis, cabinet wall or bracket. Units are designed for use on a test bench or tabletop. Accessory mounting kits for wall mounting or DIN rail mounting are available.
