Power modules deliver up to 2A output current
In stock now at Mouser Electronics are the MAXM17633, MAXM17634, and MAXM17635 power modules from Maxim Integrated.
These devices are a family of high-frequency synchronous step-down DC-DC converter modules with integrated controller, MOSFETs, compensation components, and inductor.
The modules operate from a wide input voltage range of 4.5V to 36V input and deliver up to 2A output current.
MAXM17633 and MAXM17634 are fixed 3.3V and 5V output modules, respectively, and the MAXM17635 features an adjustable output voltage of 0.9V to 12V. The modules significantly reduce design complexity and manufacturing risks, and offer a true plug-and-play power supply solution to help reduce time to market.
The compact 24-pin, 4mm × 4mm × 1.75mm uSLIC modules employ peak-current-mode control architecture, plus a programmable soft-start time to reduce input inrush current. Applications for the MAXM1763x modules include industrial control power supplies, general-purpose point-of-load designs, distributed supply regulation, base station power supplies, programmable logic controllers, and high-voltage single-board systems.
