Pluggable PSUs optimised for cPCI systems
Verotec has extended its range of modular pluggable power converters with the introduction of 11 new models specifically designed to be fully compliant with the PICMG 2.11 Power Interface specification. To meet the cPCI high current requirements on the 3.3 and 5V rails, the units feature two independent converters operating in parallel, enabling, for example, the 300W unit to provide 30A at 5V and 40A at 3.3V simultaneously.
All The units feature active power factor correction to achieve a typical power factor of 0.98, and efficiency is greater than 80% at full load. They are hot swappable, have high temperature shutdown with auto recovery, overload, over-voltage and short circuit protection and operate at full load up to 55°C without derating subject to forced air cooling at 250 linear feet/minute. Line regulation is ±0.5%, 3.3V and 5V load regulation ±1%, 5V ripple is 60mV p-p, 3.3V ripple is 90mV p-p.
All front panels are fitted with an EMI gasket and guide pin, protective ground, injector/extractors and keying to conform to IEEE 1101.10/11.
