New lithium battery holder for CR2032 cells
MPD introduces its new part number BC2032-E2, a battery holder for CR2032 cells. This holder also accepts one BR2032 battery and is suitable for consumer or industrial products. BC2032-E2 has large nickel plated stainless steel pressure contacts with pc pins tails that are unequal in size so the holder is polarity protected to the PCB against insertion errors.
WhilThe UL94V-0 plastic body is light in weight yet combined with high strength for a long service life under the typical conditions electronic equipment is subjected to. The holder size is 5.08 mm high and 29.0 mm long.
Built in circuit protection eliminates the drawbacks associated with standard CR2032 battery holders as the holder prevents the insertion of the battery when upside down.
