Exciting innovations to pursue energy transition will be presented at PCIM 2025 in Nuremberg by Mersen.

Visitors are welcome to meet the experts from Mersen and to see solutions for e-mobility, charging stations, rail transportation, and energy storage systems. With great in-house expertise in passive components and mechatronics, Mersen is moving up the power electronics value-chain with SiC and IGBT Power Stack design, assembly, and test capabilities.

At the PCIM stand, visitors will see numerous examples of how Mersen supports the industry to engage into a more efficient and reliable world. The electrical power specialists of Mersen have developed a strong experience over several decades to precisely design customised high-speed fuses, advanced cooling solutions, laminated busbars and power capacitors. Ultimately, Mersen is serving the power conversion and the battery storage industry with reliable and cost-effective products.

As a key partner for power electronics manufacturers, Mersen offers solutions to improve system performance, efficiency, and reliability or to capture the value of various new technologies. One of these achievements is the new SiC 150kVA Power Stack Evaluation Kit V2.0. It aims at helping everyone taking quickly benefits of SiC while developing a new power conversion project.

150kVA SiC Eval Kit V2.0: a pre-configured solution that streamlines development

The fully programmable Mersen SiC Power Stack Evaluation Kit enables inverter designers to accelerate their product development by relying on a pre-designed, pre-qualified industrial Power Stack. Augmented by imperix control and development environment, the Power Stack can easily be programmed and operated, reducing the product development cycle.

Lecture: how Mersen increases the efficiency of e-mobility solutions

How do laminated bus bars from Mersen optimise electrical and thermal e-mobility solutions? During a lecture at the E-Mobility & Energy Storage Stage, Jérôme Michoux, Business Development & Marketing Manager Mersen, will explain how laminated bus bars reduce the overall weight of electric cars and enhance the performance of their high-voltage distribution systems. His presentation will take place on May 6th and 7th at 9:35am at the E-Mobility & Energy Storage Stage conference in Hall 6, Stand 220.

Visit Mersen at the PCIM from 6-8th May 2025 in Nuremberg in Hall 9 at Stand 534.
