Mean Well’s DC/DC converters now available at TTI

This series, including models DDRH-15, DDRH-30, DDRH-45, and DDRH-60, offering power capacities of 15, 30, 45, and 60W respectively, is capable of handling input voltages ranging from 150 to 1500Vdc. These converters provide a consistent output voltage, catering to a wide array of DC voltage conversion needs in various applications such as solar and wind power systems, energy storage systems (ESS), electric vehicle (EV) charging stations, and DC power distribution networks.

The DDRH series is distinguished by its high isolation level of 4KVac and features several protective measures including undervoltage and reverse polarity protection for the input, along with safeguards against short circuits, overload, and overvoltage conditions, thereby bolstering the safety and integrity of electrical setups. The 60W DDRH-60 model further offers overtemperature protection and complies with EN 55032 Class A EMI standards without the necessity for additional external components.

Designed for convection cooling, the DDRH series operates silently, making it an ideal choice for environments where noise is a concern. The absence of fans minimises dust accumulation and the likelihood of failures, enhancing reliability. These converters are operational across a temperature spectrum from -40 up to +80°C, maintaining full load functionality at +50°C without any derating. The output voltage offerings range from 5 to 48V based on the model, with the 60W DDRH-60 variant featuring an adjustable potentiometer for output voltage fine-tuning within ±20%.

Ease of installation is another benefit, with the DIN Rail type units designed for quick mounting on TS-35/7.5 or 15 DIN rails. Additionally, the DDRH-15/30/45 models are available for PCB mounting and screw terminal mounting, providing flexibility for various installation requirements. Capable of operating at altitudes up to 5000m, these converters are well-suited for high-altitude applications. Compliance with IEC/EN 62109-1 and UL 1741 standards (upon request) ensures that all models in the DDRH series meet the highest safety and regulatory benchmarks.
