ITACOIL unveils space-saving transformer solutions at PCIM 2024

ITACOIL, partnering with its distributor for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, MEV Elektronik Service GmbH, will be showcasing innovative transformer solutions at PCIM 2024.

Small size, big performance: see ITACOIL's new 2kW LLC resonant transformer. This transformer defies its size (just 55 x 42 x 43mm) by delivering 2kW continuous power (1kW without air cooling), peak power of 2.3kW and allowing an impressive converter efficiency up to 98%. This size is readily available from ITACOIL's standard catalogue, but can also be customised for your specific needs.

Modular efficiency enhancement: discover ITACOIL's synchronous rectification module. This integrated daughterboard seamlessly pairs with LLC transformers to minimise power loss, making it ideal for high current applications (ranging from 50 to 100 Adc and over).

Fast-track your development: ITACOIL will also unveil a prototype 24V Demo Board. This board, designed for direct connection to a half-bridge, features a complete rectified resonant tank, including the daughterboard and the 2kW transformer. This compact reference design, measuring 92 x 94 x 80mm (or 92 x 94 x 50mm without a cooling fan), serves as a platform for electronic designers to expedite the development of powerful, highly efficient, and compact resonant converters.
