With extra low quiescent current and a high input voltage specification, Holtek is delighted to announce the release of its new TinyPower low dropout high accuracy regulators, the HT71xx-2. This new series forms an extension to the already released HT71xx-1 device series.
In comparison with the HT71xx-1series ±3% output voltage accuracy, this new HT71xx-2 series now has an enhanced output voltage accuracy of ±1%. These enhancements to output voltage accuracy will now provide product designers with even more ideal power solutions. Holtek’s technology, with its very low 2.5uA quiescent current, provides significant advantages in the area of battery life extension, an important factor in portable product applications. In also having a maximum input voltage of 30V and a maximum output current of 30mA, these LDO devices will appeal to a far and wide range of applications.

The HT71xx-2 series devices can be used in a diverse range of applications which require higher output voltage accuracies such as smart meters, smart security devices, sensing devices, measuring instrumentation, medical products etc.

The HT71xx-2 series is a set of three-terminal low power high voltage regulators implemented in CMOS technology. They allow input voltages as high as 30V. They are available with several fixed output voltages ranging from 2.1V to 5.0V. CMOS technology ensures low voltage drop and low quiescent current.

Although designed primarily as fixed voltage regulators, these devices can be used with external components to obtain variable voltages and currents.
