Excelsys Technologies Appoints Avnet Time in Europe

Under this agreement, Avnet Time will market and sell Excelsys complete range of high power density modular power supplies including the fully medically approved product series. Excelsys’ products provide industry leading power supply solutions from 100W to 5kW for the industrial, medical, communications and computing markets.

Excelsys products offer a very flexible solution for distributors and end users as the specially designed powerMods output modules may be configured and assembled into powerPac chassis to provide “off the shelf custom” power solutions in just a few minutes. This not only reduces distributor inventory requirements but also allows end users to procure application specific power supplies without time consuming and expensive custom engineering costs.



Excelsys powerPac modules are fully isolated and can be connected in series or parallel for complete flexibility and offer full N+1 redundancy for critical equipment. All Excelsys products are 1U high and offer efficiencies up to 90%. Excelsys power supplies may be configured by Avnet Time or by using the EXCELerate wizard design tool on the Excelsys website which creates a bespoke design and part number which may then be ordered direct from Avnet Time.
