Emerson Network Power Introduces NetSure 721 DC Power System
Emerson Network Power today introduced the NetSure 721 DC power system, featuring Emerson’s advanced controller that enables enhanced monitoring and energy management capabilities for wireless, wireline and data center applications. The NetSure 721 DC power system is available in North America.
The “The keys to truly optimizing performance and efficiency in today’s network are visibility and technology intelligence. The NetSure721 DC power system is best-in-class in both regards with its ability to monitor fluctuating conditions and adjust accordingly to deliver real-world energy efficiency,” said David Michlovic, director of product management for Emerson Network Power’s Energy Systems business.
The ACU+ controller is capable of monitoring and controlling up to 60 rectifiers and provides advanced battery management, including thermal runaway management, current limiting, alarm history, and data acquisition. In addition, a battery resistance monitor can be integrated to measure internal cell resistance. The ACU+ can be accessed on-site via an LCD display or remotely via a user-friendly web interface.
The NetSure 721 is easy to install, operate and maintain, with full front access and an AC input connection design that includes individual, dual and three-phase rectifier feed options. Each NetSure 721 distribution cabinet is modular by row and position, with four distinct distribution cabinet sizes that accommodate up to four distribution panels. Floor space can be maximized by installing the low-profile design atop batteries or other equipment. Distribution panels offer low voltage and battery disconnect and can be configured for a variety of device types. Up to three distribution bays can be included in the system for a total capacity of 4000 amps and up to 12 distribution panels.
