electronica 2008 - Unipower Corp - Power Supplies
Leading power specialist UNIPOWER Corporation, well known for its wide range of AC/DC, DC/DC and DC/AC power conversion and distribution products for a wide variety of industrial and telecoms applications, will make several key product introductions at electronica 2008.
AmonA new family of modular inverter power systems, designed to meet the needs of both telecoms and industrial OEM customers, will also be launched. Part of UNIPOWER’s established Gravitas family, the Sabre Series is an integrated power system that can be configured using a variety of modules including inverters, static transfer switch, control unit and remote communications interface. Sabre Series systems can be expanded to provide up to 24kVA.
Key features include very high power density, hot swap N+1 capability, a unique “all master” dynamic mechanism designed to safeguard power to critical loads, maintenance bypass and full system control and status display.
Earlier this year, UNIPOWER became a master distributor for the EMEA and Asia Pacific regions for Power Solutions Inc and a selection of AC and DC input power supplies from Power Solutions Inc, particularly those from 40 to 350W, will be prominently displayed.
Additions to the QuiQPLUS series of modular, configurable power sources will also be on show. QuiQPLUS units are designed to allow customers to configure a unit to suit their exact application and have it delivered next day.
Launched originally as an 800W power supply, QuiQPLUS is now additionally available with 600 and 1000W power levels and all three are capable of providing up to 8 outputs with any output voltage between 3 to 56V. As well as the new power levels, UNIPOWER has added lower current single output modules with currents as low as 4.2A available.
All Unipower Corporation products meet the requirements of all relevant safety standards including UL60950-1, CSA22.2 No. 60950-1 and EN60950-1. Product is currently available from UNIPOWER Corporation’s factories located in the U.K. and the U.S.
