Stackpole has announced its CSFA automotive grade high current jumper for high-reliability applications.

Zero-ohm jumpers are integral components in various electronic circuits, serving a wide array of markets and end products by facilitating easier circuitry routing and simplifying manufacturability. However, the demand for jumpers capable of handling higher current levels often exceeds the capacity of general-purpose jumpers. In high-reliability applications such as engine controls, voltage regulators, and battery management, options for high-current jumpers are scarce.

Stackpole’s CSFA series automotive-grade high-current SMD jumpers offer a robust solution, capable of handling currents up to 70.7A with overload current ratings reaching up to 158A, surpassing the capability of general-purpose thick film jumpers which is typically only a few amps. This makes the CSFA series suitable for a wide range of high-current applications, providing enhanced reliability and reduced sensitivity to surge current events.

The CSFA is AEC-Q200 qualified, anti-sulphur per EIA-977, and RoHS compliant without exemption.  Pricing for the CSFA depends on size.  Contact Stackpole or one of our franchised distribution partners for specific or volume pricing.
