The Brandenburg 3590 series of compact, high stability, high voltage power supplies from Applied Kilovolts are ideal for applications where space is limited. The high performance 5W modules are suitable for use with mass spectrometers, nuclear instrumentation, ion pumps, image intensifiers etc.
Operating from either a 12V or 24V dc supply, the modules provide accurately controlled high voltage outputs of up to 10kV. The use of high stability components in the feedback system ensures a low temperature coefficient and excellent long and short term drift.

Positive and negative polarity options are available, with 2.5kV, 5kV, 7.5kV and 10kV maximum output voltages which can be adjusted remotely by an external control voltage. Monitoring of output voltage and current are also provided, as are fixed and variable references.

Output ripple is only 500mV peak to peak and drift is less than 150ppm over an eight hour period and less than 100ppm over one hour (after warm up). A voltage monitor and current monitor are included.

The modules are flashover and short circuit protected, and encapsulated in a screened metal case to minimise electromagnetic interference. They are UL certified.
