The new power supply BEG-300-1224 with dual output by Bicker Elektronik, Donauwörth, provides +12VDC and +24VDC output voltage, thus enabling a simultaneous supply of the mainboard (+12V) and a second device such as display, printer or coin validator.

The BEG-300-1224 is therefore ideally suited for use in POI, POS, and self-service terminals, in automated teller machines and in gaming applications. At forced cooling the compact power supply provides a total power of 300 watts, and at convection cooling up to 150 watts. At this, the highly efficient power supply achieves up to 88% efficiency, enabling its use in fanless applications and in ventilated 1-HE systems.

By default, the 90 to 264VAC broad range input (47 to 63 Hz input frequency) is provided with an active power factor correction allowing worldwide use of the robust open frame power supply. Many years of reliable operational safety are ensured by high-quality components and extensive protective functions: a short-circuit protection and an over temperature protection (with shut-down and automatic restart) as well as an overload protection with fold-back behaviour.

The power supply is able to start already at temperatures of -20°C and can be operated without fan cooling at ambient temperatures up to +70°C. Besides a POWER GOOD signal the BEG-300-1224 is also provided with an INHIBIT function allowing to switch-off the device via an external signal. Fine-tuning of the +12V output voltage within a range of ± 5% is possibly by means of an integrated potentiometer.

Bicker Elektronik provides three years warranty for the long-term available BEG-300-1224.
