Bench power supply has fully variable auxiliary output
TTi (Thurlby Thandar Instruments) has replaced its top-selling EX354T 300W triple-output laboratory power supply with a new model that incorporates a fully variable auxiliary output. The new EX354Tv is a mixed-mode regulated power supply with dual outputs of 0 to 35 V at 0 to 4 A. The third output is now continuously variable between 1.5 and 5.0 V at currents of up to 5 A, replacing the fixed 3.3 V/5 V auxiliary output of its predecessor.
36V Step-Down DC/DC Converter in 3mm x 3mm DFN Package
Linear Technology has announced the LT3505, a current mode PWM step-down DC/DC converter with an internal 1.75A power switch, packaged in a tiny 8-lead 3mm x 3mm DFN package. Its wide input range of 3.6V to 36V and capability to withstand 40V transients makes the LT3505 ideal for regulating power from a wide variety of sources, including unregulated wall transformers, 24V industrial supplies and automotive batteries. For automotive applications, ...
SynQor adds to its Sixteenth Brick Range
SynQor has announced the release of further additions to its DOSA compliant sixteenth brick family in a 1.3 x 0.9in footprint. The PQ60012SGL25 and PQ60025SGL25 deliver up to 1.2V/25A and 2.5V/25A respectively. With this announcement, SynQor now offers a range of sixteenth brick devices that cover output voltages of 1.2V, 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V and 5V, up to a maximum of 66W total output power.
1U 2KVA Inverter
Schaefer's latest pure sine wave inverter products now includes a 2KVA model packaged in a 1U rackmount design. Highly efficient and reliable, the pure sine wave output of the AEP-A2000R Series offers benefits over modified or quasi-sine wave units by delivering “clean” output power for powering sensitive loads and for improving AC equipment performance.
Single-Cell Li-Ion / Li-Polymer Chargers in SOT-23 Packages
Microchip has announced its MCP7381X Li-Ion/Li-Polymer charge-management controllers. Offering programmable charge currents up to 500 mA, they feature integrated current sense, integrated pass transistor, thermal regulation and reverse battery protection, all in a 5-pin SOT-23 package.
DC/DC boost converter has lowest input voltage says TI
Texas Instruments has introduced the industry's lowest input voltage DC/DC boost converter, which will enable portable electronic end-equipment to draw power from new energy sources, such as solar and micro-fuel cells. The tiny power circuit can operate with input voltages lower than 0.3 V with high efficiency, allowing designers to overcome the low-voltage design barrier of incorporating these alternative energy sources in applications, such as ...
