The Artesyn NLP250 series expands the range of low-to-mid-power solutions available from UR Group. This high-density, high-efficiency switching power supply is only 3.8 cm high with a footprint of just 10.2 x 17.8cm (4x7in) making it suitable for 1U high applications. The range offers up to 250W from 0C to 70C (derating from 50C to 70C) with a typical efficiency of 86%.

All NLP250 series power supplies feature a universal input, ranging from 85V to 264V AC enabling them to be used in equipment destined for the global market. All units have 2 additional Outputs in addition to the main output, a 5V standby output and a 12V output that can be used to drive fans. The non medical versions also have integrated Oring diodes.

These units can also be used as low- to medium-power front-end units, driving a distributed power and point of load architecture as well as relays, motors and print heads.

The units also incorporates a range of features including remote sense, Power Good, DC OK, Remote On/Off and signal wire current share as well as overcurrent, overvoltage and over temperature protection. Both the medical and non medical ranges comply with EN55022-B conducted noise. The range has full international approvals IEC950, IEC60950-1, EN60950, VDE0805, UL/cUL60950-1 and for the medical series IEC60601-1, VDE0750 and UL60601-1 as well as a 2 year warranty.
