1U 500W U-Bracket Type Switching Power Supply

MEAN WELL's “USP-500 series” is a 500W U-bracket type power supply with power factor correction (PFC) function for the growing demand of low profile middle wattage applications. Featuring advanced technology for high efficiency, USP-500 possesses up to 90% of efficiency even for the 12V model, and hence it can supply 400W by merely free air convection which is perfectly suitable for fanless usages. By applying 23.5CFM of system forced air, an even higher output of 500W can be obtained. With 6.2W/ in3 of high power density, USP-500 series is a compact 90~264V switcher that is ideal for 1U (1.75-inch) installations. Standard functions include remote ON/OFF control, remote sense, DC OK signal output, short circuit, overload, over-voltage, and over-temperature protections.
