Available now from MicroPower Direct, the B3000RW series provides 30W of isolated, tightly regulated output power in a compact 1 x 2 x 0.4 inch case. These high power density converters are an ideal choice for a wide variety of board level applications in which space is limited but a high performance power converter is required. Standard features include a wide input voltage range, tight line/load regulation, overvoltage protection, low output voltages (2.5V & 3.3V) and compliance to EN55022 Class A.

Ten models operate from 24 VDC (18V to 36V) or 48 VDC (36V to 75V) inputs, providing single outputs of 2.5, 3.3, 5, 12, or 15 VDC. Standard features include line/load regulation typically less than 0.5%, an input/output isolation of 1,500 VDC, continuous short circuit protection, and efficiency as high as 88%. A remote control input is available as an option. The MTBF (per MIL HDBK 217F) is greater than 600 khours. All models are compliant to RoHS standards.
The B3000RW family is packaged in a compact 1 x 2 x 0.4 inch case. The pin-out is industry standard. Each model is specified for operation over the wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +50°C (ambient) with no derating or heat sinking required. Cooling is by free-air convection.
