Stackpole launches MELF resistors
Stackpole is addressing the need for resistors that meet electrical performance requirements while remaining cost-effective and available with the MLFA series, an AEC-Q200 compliant MELF resistor.
The resistor is designed for superior electrical and environmental performance, featuring low thermal resistance. It demonstrates stability and reliability, with test performance for key resistance values as follows:
- Biased humidity (85°C / 85% RH, 10% rated power, 1000 hours): ≤ ±0.5%
- Operational life (MIL-STD-202, Method 108): ≤ ±0.25%
- Short-time overload (RCWV × 2.5 or maximum overload voltage for 5 seconds): ≤ ±0.1%
Boasting reliability, the MLFA series of resistors is well suited for applications such as audio equipment, power monitoring, precision controls, industrial controls, motor controls, automotive electronics, test equipment, and instrumentation.
