New full and half pitch Piano switches and DIP slide switches with excellent contact stability
International distributor ECOMAL based in Berkshire, UK announced the new full (2,54 mm) and half pitch (1,27 mm) Piano switches series of Nidec Copal Electronics. The new switches are compatible with lead-free soldering and the gold-plated contacts guarantee excellent contact stability.
CFP CHP provides 2,4 and 8 bits and are available with J-hook and Gull-wing terminal pins. The packaging size of the switches depending on the bits are from 5,9 x 4,4 to 12,2 x 4,6 mm. The operating temperature range of the CFP series range form -40 to +85 °C. The maximum switching voltage are 24 V DC / 25 mA or 6 V / 100 mA and the maximum voltage (non-switching) are 50 V DC (100 mA). The contact resistance is max. 50 mOhm. The switches are suited in applications like communication devices, AV- and OA-Systems and computer peripherals.
DIP Slide switches with excellent contact stability
The new full pitch slide switches series CFS series are compatible with lead-free soldering. The switches are suited in applications like communication devices, air-conditioning equipment, vending machines and various control equipment. The CFS switches provides 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 bits and are available with J-hook or Gull-wing SMD terminals pins and through-hole pins.
The gold-plated contacts of terminals and sliders guarantee high reliability and a excellent contact stability. The operating temperature range of the CFS series range form -40 to +85 °C. The switch is accommodated in PPS housing according to UL-94V-0. The switches are available with flat or convex knobs and with or without seal tape for PC board cleaning needs. The packaging size of the switches depending on the bits are from 9,95 x 6,4 x 3,9 mm to 26,9 x 6,4 x 3,9 mm. The operating temperature range of the CFS series range form -40 to +85 °C. The maximum switching voltage are 24 V DC / 25 mA or 6 V / 100 mA and the maximum voltage (non-switching) are 50 V DC (100 mA).
