Murata now offers its low DC resistance, high rated current wire-wound chip inductors in low profile 1515-size packaging (4.0 x 4.0 x 1.65mm), designed to save space and increase efficiency in DC-DC converter designs.
The new series of wire-wound chip inductors, part number LQH44P, is suitable for DC-DC converter circuits in electrical appliances such as TVs, digital cameras, laptop computers and portable electronic equipment. Miniaturisation of such electronic equipment is driving Murata's development of smaller components which maintain their outstanding electrical performance to contribute to the efficiency of power supplies.

The LQH44P series features seven parts with inductance between 1 and 22µH, with low DC resistance between 0.03 and 0.37Ω. Rated current is up to 2.95A. The parts are magnetically shielded to prevent interference and operate in the temperature range -40 to +85°C.
