Illuminated Tact switch can incorporate two LED’s in any colour combination

With a height of just 2.5mm and a body size of 4.1 x 6.8mm, the switch is illuminated using two LEDs which may be user selected to be in any colour combination. The TSSL 3W is ideal for use in illuminated keys in consumer, telecomms and many other human interface applications.

The switch is RoHS compliant and features a contact rating of 12VDC @ 50mA, a maximum contact resistance of 100mO and an operating temperature range of -20 to +70ºC. This new switch features an operating force of 1.6N and gives the user a sharp “click” feeling when pushed.

Having two LED’s allows users to indicate the status of their end system, which is often required where a standby or sleep-mode is available.
