High Security Lock Switch
Lorlin Electronics has announced a new model in its highly successful DSL high security mains lock switch range. The new model offers a non-latching spring-return action intended for safety and security applications or where control by authorised users only is essential. The spring-return action is particularly useful for control or reset functions of electronic or electrical equipment or machinery that must not be left unattended during operation.
ManuOver 15,000 key combinations are available with options of all different keys or common “pass” keys for applications requiring single key control of multiple secure systems by supervisors or service engineers.
The DSL-SR lock switch is rated at 115VAC/5A and 30VDC/3A over an operating life of >10,000 cycles. The 2 pole change over micro-switch has an operating temperature range of –25 to +85°C and is flame retardant to UL94 V0. Connection is made via plated brass solder terminals. The lock housing is brass and may be supplied bright chrome or nickel-plated with a parallel-sided lock head.
