Film capacitors hit average eight-weeks lead time
New Yorker Electronics is now supplying Exxelia Film Capacitors with considerably reduced lead times.
Delivery times for film capacitors in the RA (Polypropylene PP) and KM (Polyphenylene Sulfide PPS) ranges previously averaged of 20 weeks, but through efforts to optimise the supply chain, these lead times are reduced to eight weeks on average.
The Exxelia PMR range, designed for medical and railway applications, also saw a significant improvement in its delivery times. In some cases, the usual delivery times for these specific products have been reduced by a factor of 10. The reduced delivery times means the devices can be incorporated into designs faster, accelerating the overall product development.
One of the key product of the KM line (Polyphenylene Sulfide PPS) is range is the KM 111 S/T.
This high performance film capacitor is ideal for power electronics applications such as filters and inverters. The KM 111 S/T provides the precise capacitance value needed for special aviation electromechanical applications.
With its high operating voltage and high energy density, the KM 111 S/T offers outstanding performance.
Exxelia’s premier PMR range, designed for medical and railway applications, is also available with significant improvement in its delivery times. Their reliability, stability and extended life make them ideal choices for medical equipment, monitoring devices, rail transportation systems and more.
New Yorker Electronics supplies Exxelia Film, Mica, Tantalum, Aluminum Electrolytics and Ceramic Capacitors as well as its EMI/RFI Filters, Magnetics, Position Sensors, Slip Rings and Rotary Joints.
