DMTL at Southern Manufacturing - New franchise to be announced
DMTL is using its first outing at Southern Manufacturing & Electronics (15 and 16 Feb 2012 – FIVE Farnborough) to demonstrate its total passive component capability. Key reasons to visit DMTL at the show include an opportunity to discuss the latest AVX devices with AVX engineers, the launch of a significant passive component franchise and details of a new family of 3mm trimmer capacitors replacing the now obsolete AVX Kyocera CTZ3 range.
DMTLAs a result, DMTL is recognised by many as the leading specialist supplier of circuit protection devices, frequency control components, resistors, capacitors and specialist connectors as well as a variety of ceramic devices and sensors.
DMTL is also now able to supply a wide variety of components approved to relevant military and automotive standards.
DMTL has just announced the first availability of a new range of AVX crystal oscillators primarily designed for the automotive industry but suitable across a wide range of applications where electronics is used for control. The new CX3225xx series are extremely small, low profile surface mount devices, capable of operating up to 54MHz and with a height off the board as low as 0.6mm. Samples of these devices will be on display and AVX engineers will be on hand to discuss these new crystal oscillators.
DMTL’s new MCV series are 3mm trimmer capacitors that are replacements for the widely used and recently discontinued AVX CTZ devices and also those currently available from Murata. According to Pete Jones, DMTL’s Commercial Director, the MCV series will be available on very short lead times and at very competitive prices.
During 2011, DMTL has increased its focus on military and aerospace applications and a selection of devices targeting this specialist sector will be on display. DMTL will also announce a new franchise at Southern Manufacturing & Electronics 2012.
