Current sense chip resistors offer the industry's lowest values
A series of foil on ceramic current sense chip resistors that offers resistance values among the lowest in 0402 and 0603 chip sizes has been released by Stackpole Electronics. The CSRF series consists of the CSRF0402–HP and the CSRF0603.
The CSRF0402–HP offers resistance values down to 8mΩ with TCR of 200ppm, while the CSRF0603 can achieve resistance values down to 5mΩ with 150ppm TCR.
This outstanding combination of small size, low resistance and low TCR mean more efficient and more accurate power management for a wide range of portable consumer electronics.
The resistors are priced from $0.15 to $0.20 each, depending on size, resistance value and tolerance.
