Teledyne Coax Switches announces new Coax Switch Matrix selection guide
Teledyne Coax Switches has released a new Coax Switch Matrix Selection Guide. The guide features Teledyne’s switch matrix capabilities with comprehensive descriptions of each matrix and additional options for users to tailor a matrix to their exact requirements.
The Matrices are available with 50Ω or 75Ω impedance, and are designed to provide multi-input, multi-output configurations using individual switches in combination to reduce space and cost. User control is via the Teledyne universal controller which provides multiple interface options including RS-232, USB, GPIB, Parallel TTL and Ethernet TCP/IP. Connector options are SMA, mini-SMB, Type N, TNC or 2.92mm.
The Switch Matrix range has four series: CSM-1000 (4x96 MIMO Multiple Connection), CSM-2000 (1x16 Multiplex), CSM-3000 (4x32 MIMO Single Connection) and the CSM-4000 offering users the choice to tailor a matrix to their exact needs. The CSM-4000 Series options include the integration of passive components such as filters and attenuators. To provide the maximum design flexibility and cost benefit for users, independent matrices can be engineered into a common chassis. To fully customise the chassis Teledyne can integrate switches, indicators and mounting hardware to meet application requirements. The final design of a CSM-4000 matrix is a product of the user working closely with Teledyne engineers to develop a matrix which meets exactly the user requirements for RF performance and maximum application flexibility.
