Several new series of Exxelia Ohmcraft high-resistance custom chip resistors are now available at New Yorker Electronics.

As electronics evolve, the power and pulse requirements have changed higher efficiency electronics and motors mean lower power, voltage, and current requirements. As a result, designs which have traditionally required a carbon composition or wirewound resistor may now be able to use a lower cost metal oxide resistor.

Knowles Precision Devices, a division of Knowles Corporation, recently expanded its capacitor assembly offering with the release of its new SV series of capacitor assemblies for power supply filtering applications. The SV series is a vertically stacked ceramic capacitor, abd Knowles claim it offers superior performance compared with aluminium or tantalum electrolytic capacitors, while also helping to reduce the overall circuit board footprint.

KEMET has announced three new series of metallised polypropylene dielectric film capacitors: C44U-M, C44P-R, and R75H. Constructed with an aluminum canister design, both the C44U-M and C44P-R power film series address the increasing demand for high-power conversion systems in green energy and industrial applications.
