Z Laser New product family ZM18 presented at Tire Technology 2010

During tire manufacturing, the line lasers help the exact positioning of the individual rubber layers on the drum. So several layers can be adjusted precisely and accurately, improving quality and saving time and money.

At the Tire technology 2010 Z-LASER will show the new product family ZM18 which is available with different optics and wavelengths (red, green, blue & IR). The green line lasers are much more visible to the eye, especially on black rubber. In addition to the lasers being used as positioning aids, (e.g. tire building/retreading) the lasers can also be used for illumination within vision systems.
