USHIO America, Inc. Launches The FLS and DLS Solid State Fiber-Optic and Direct Lighting Systems

USHIO's FLS Fiber LED Lighting System utilizes a high power LED light engine with a specially engineered coupling device and fiber optic cable along with a unique constant current remote power supply. The FLS system has a fiber run length of up to 6 feet and is ideal for applications currently using neon tubing and fluorescent tubes.

The DLS system from USHIO is similar to the FLS system, however instead of a fiber-optic device attached to the light engine there’s a proprietary optic attached that distributes a very wide flood beam of light.
The FLS & DLS system’s offer low energy consumption, high performance and long life. Both systems’ light engines are rated for 50,000 hour life and they’re dimmable. These LED systems are UL certified and listed in the Sign Accessory Manual. Their Class 2 rating is approved for wet, dry, and damp locations. USHIO also offers design and engineering support for both of these systems.
