Solomon Systech Launches Smart High Power LED Module SSM1072HS
Solomon Systech announced today the launch of SSM1072HS, a new series of smart high power LED products added to its Green Power - LED lighting family.

Smart LED lighting has become a trend in the market. Solomon Systech’s SSM1072HS is specially designed for supporting different control methodologies and wireless embedded technologies. With SSM1072HS, dimming by PWM signal, Zigbee, Bluetooth, etc. can be easily achieved by simply changing the built-in smart controller daughter board. In addition, SSM1072HS provides an extra 3.3V or 5V smart aux output for external PWM signal generation circuits.

The Solomon Systech SSM1072HS series supports up to 130W output power, with various constant current outputs from 0.7A to 2.45A.

With an advanced circuit topology, these new power modules offer high efficiency (up to 90%) and so can be cooled by free air convection from -40ºC to +70ºC ambient temperature even without potting.

SSM1072HS series provides high flexibility, not only at output current and voltage, but also through different package options, like bare module, optional casing, optional potting for IP65/67 enclosure, etc…
Safety Features
In addition, several safety features, including natural current-limited soft start, over-current protection, short-circuit protection, over-voltage and over temperature protection are embedded in SSM1072HS series to enhance its competitiveness.
Availability
The SSM1072HS samples are now available. In addition to the SSM1072HS series, another SSM1072H series without the smart interface is also available.
