Philips Lumileds expands LUXEON mid-power LED portfolio

With the launch of Mid-Power March, Philips Lumileds makes another significant foray into the mid-power LED market, further complementing its industry leading role in high-power LED emitters and arrays.

The announcement of a variety of mid-power products throughout the month will be accompanied by the introduction of a new colour binning structure that will enable tight colour control. The new products will also offer hot colour targeting, which ensures ANSI compliance at specified operating conditions.

In applications where either high-power or mid-power LEDs can be used, Philips Lumileds customers now have full freedom to select from the highest performance options.
