OSRAM Opto Semiconductors awarded by French professional union of industrial electronic distribution SPDEI

“We are very proud of this award which recognizes our dedication to distribution”, stated Antoine Leveau, head of OSRAM Opto Semiconductors in France, at the evening of the ceremony that took place on November 17th at the Automobile Club de France premises, Place de la Concorde in Paris. About 150 people, including manufacturers, SPDEI members, representatives of trade union partners and press, attended the event. The Union’s mission is to publish regular statistics, transmit information about the profession, and organize meetings between manufacturer and distributors. It represents 90 per cent of the French electronics trade and is the industry’s voice both in France and at European level.



Additionally, the award is a special honour for OSRAM, because SPDEI’s president tightened the criteria in order to be more selective and closer to market needs. The association has assessed more than 115 manufacturers on several criteria, like partnership, products, resources or design’s protection. OSRAM won the trophy in the category of Opto electronics / display (LED/LCD).
