AEM Components today introduces a new fuse line series with their MF2410 Surface Mount Fuse. The MF series complies with the IEC 60127-4 UMF standard, making this fuse suitable for the global market. In addition, the MF series is certified by UL, VDE, CQC, PSE and KC. Both the extremely small 2410 package size and the 250VAC rating make the series ideal for space constraint AC applications such as LED Lighting. The MF2410’s excellent inrush current withstanding capabilities allow the fuse to work well in applications additional to LED Lighting, for example Chargers, Adapters, Power Boards, Medical Equipment, Industrial Equipment and Appliances.

AEM’s MF2410 series has a fiberglass enforced epoxy fuse body and copper termination with nickel and tin plating. The series is optimal for applications with operating temperatures of -55°C to +125°C (with de-rating). MF2410 surface mount devices (SMD) are lead-free, halogen-free and RoHS compliant.

MF 2410 fuses come in tape and reel packaging at 2000 pieces per reel. Price for the MF2410 fuse begins at $0.16 per piece for quantities of 2,000. The MF2410 data sheet is available here. Inquiries may be sent to AEM directly or to local AEM distributors.
