LED lighting supplier reaches one million installed fixtures
Dialight has announced that over one million of its industrial LED lighting products have been installed worldwide as of December 2016, making it the first manufacturer in the industry to achieve this major milestone.
“This is a tremendous achievement for Dialight—a testament not only to the quality of our products, but also our leadership in the LED lighting industry. It´s gratifying that so many companies recognise that our deep expertise, innovation and decades of experience as a lighting provider has enabled many of the world´s leading organisations to achieve substantial savings, efficiency and sustainability through our products,” said Michael Sutsko, Dialight´s Group Chief Executive.
With more than one million fixtures installed, Dialight´s superior energy efficiency represents a cumulative carbon emissions reduction of 1,137,326 million tonnes—the equivalent of driving nearly one quarter of a million cars for a year—and freeing up enough electricity to service over 100,000 homes.
The company’s legacy legacy of LED lighting innovation has earned it many first-to-market milestones, including record-setting efficiency with its 140 lumen per watt Vigilant High Bay and Area Light products, and the first 60,000 lumen output High Bay.
The company has also been delivering the first hazardous location certified products for both domestic and international applications in gas and oil and other volatile environments. As a result of its innovation, Dialight has pioneered the use of LED fixtures for industrial lighting on all six developed continents and spanning a wide range of industries, from oil and gas, chemical and food production and heavy manufacturing to transportation and obstruction applications.
With an eye toward the future, Dialight has most recently blazed a trail in the fast-growing movement toward networked lighting and controls, and in integrating its LED lighting fixtures with Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) platforms for manufacturing and building automation. Dialight has launched a series of its own smart grid-compatible products, including wireless occupancy and daylight harvesting sensor and controls systems, along with DACS (Dialight Architecture for Controls System), the first heavy industrial lighting network enterprise management software.
“Dialight has long been known for setting the industry standard in industrial LED lighting innovation and leveraging our design and execution expertise to help our customers save money and time, as well as reduce their environmental impact,” Sutsko said. “We look forward to continuing that tradition of leading the LED lighting revolution into the future.”
