MEAN WELL introduced the first 185W AC/DC multiple channel constant current output LED power supply~ LDV-185 series. Built-in active PFC function, these units can offer 6 CH/ 700mA or 12 CH/ 350mA constant current outputs. Different from MEAN WELL’s other LED power supplies, LDV-185 series are built-in DC/DC constant current LED driver ICs, so that they can ensure the balance of output current from each channels that ensure the long lifetime of LEDs and reduce the EMI interference of the lighting system. LDV-185 has two kinds of models (Blank type/ D-type) for your selection.

Blank type has basic features without “timer dimming” function and D-type (optional) equips with “timer dimming” function. After power on the system, D type model will start up the internal timer controlled by the MCU with pre-set counting program that up to three different time period (four different brightness levels) can be set to adjust the output current in each period. In addition, in order to fit in with the outdoor harsh environment, these series are potted by glue to reach the high dustproof/ waterproof level (IP67) and are designed by aluminum case as well as stainless screws.

Featuring with 180~295VAC AC input, LDV-185 series not only fit for general 230VAC main input, but also can be operated under 277VAC input in North America. Built-in active PFC function, these new series comply with harmonic current limitation per EN61000-3-2 Class C (>75% load). They also fulfill PF>0.9 if loading over 75% and possess 4KV surge immunity (EN61000-4-5) ability. With up-to date LLC topology, LDV-185 possesses up to 88% of high efficiency (based on the same LED quantity for each channel/ total wattage >120W), so it can be cooled by free air convection from -30℃ to +70℃ ambient temperature that meets the requirements of outdoor installation. Standard functions include protections for short circuit, overload, over voltage, and over temperature. These power units equip with input cable of 18AWG*3C (with FG)/ 30cm and output cable of 22AWG*13C/15cm/15 pin waterproof connector + 22AWG*12C/15cm/12pin waterproof connector. They are also comply with certificates per EN61347-2-13 (LVD) and CE (EN55015/EN61547), which are suitable for all kinds of outdoor LED lighting applications, in particular for LED lighting fixtures with multiple channel driving design.
