Analog Devices Adds New Highly Integrated Demodulator for Broadband Communication Designs to its RF/Microwave Product Portfolio
Analog Devices, Inc today introduced a new highly integrated demodulator for broadband applications, such as cellular base stations, satellite communications, point-to-point (PtP) radios and defence systems. ADI’s new ADRF6850 demodulator expands ADI’s RF/microwave product portfolio and offers the highest level of integration and functionality by combining five devices and three RF functions into one small-footprint, surface-mount chip.
UnliThe ADRF6850 operates over a broad frequency range from 100 MHz to 1000 MHz and supports narrow band and wideband signal modes up to 250MHz. The device offers best-in-class RF performance with an input IP3 (third order intercept) of 22.5 dBm, P1dB (input compression point) of 12 dB and a noise figure of 11 dB. Furthermore, the ADRF6850 also supports the user selected SPI/I2C serial interface and is fully supported by the latest version of ADI’s popular PLL design tool, ADIsimPLL.
