Intersil Announce New 24-bit ADCs Featuring Industry’s Highest Measurement Accuracy
Intersil have today announced the introduction of a new integrated, ultra low noise 24-bit ADCs with programmable gain amplifiers that provide optimal measurement accuracy over a wide range of conversion rates with a minimum of external components. The ISL26102 and ISL26104 are 24-bit ADCs that offer an on-chip ultra-low noise programmable gain amplifier.
The Features and Specifications:
•Low Noise: Less than 8nV/√Hz at 128x gain
•Low Power: 50mW power dissipation during conversions and 1μA shutdown mode
•Low side power switch lets users shut off load cell current to reduce consumption
•Robust ESD rating exceeds 8kV HBM
•Bidirectional SPI-compatible serial digital interfaces enables easy connection to an MCU or FPGA
Integration with Intersil’s Low-Noise Precision Products
The ISL26102 and ISL26104 complement Intersil’s industry-leading portfolio of low-noise, precision signal path products. At the Renesas DevCon 2012, Intersil demonstrated a precision temperature and strain gauge AFE paired with a RL78/G13 Renesas microcontroller. In addition to the ISL26102, this reference design combined the ISL28617 40V Instrumentation Amplifier, ISL21090, low noise precision voltage reference, ISL28134, 5V Low Noise Zero-Drift Op Amp, and ISL22317 DCP to create turnkey solutions for both temperature and strain applications.
Pricing and Availability
The ISL26102 and ISL26104 are available now in 24-lead TSSOP packages and are priced at $5.45 and $5.95 each, respectively, in 1,000-unit quantities.
