Analog Devices has introduced a pair of 14-bit DACs that perform direct digital synthesis for signals up to 3.6 GHz. These high-performance converters extend ADI’s industry-leading TxDAC family of transmit digital-to-analogue converters by delivering an unmatched combination of usable bandwidth and effective dynamic range to communications-equipment manufacturers worldwide.
IDT Extends Family Of High-Performance Central Packet Switches For Cellular Base Stations
IDT has announced a new member of its family of central packet switches. The new device provides IDT customers with an optimized mix of port count, performance and power consumption for up to six 4x ports of 10G connectivity. The device offers IDT customers sustained throughput for the full range of minimum and maximum packet sizes while providing power consumption low enough to eliminate the need for an additional heat sink device in many applic...
ZMD Launches Low-power ADCs for Automotive Real-time Applications
ZMD AG has announced that its SARah family of successive-approximation (SAR) analog-to-digital converters (ADC) now meets the rigorous requirements of the AEC-Q100 automotive industry standard. This qualification means the field-proven SARah family is now ready for automotive applications, saving designers and suppliers the cost and time needed to qualify a device after design-in.
Fujitsu Introduces Evaluation Kit for CHAIS ADC Technology
Fujitsu has announced an evaluation kit (BATBOARD) for its ultrafast ADC IP based on the revolutionary CHArge-mode Interleaved Sampler technology (CHAIS). The BATBOARD allows early silicon characterisation of a two-channel 56GSa/s 8-bit ADC using the single-chip ROBIN device (the first customer evaluation silicon for CHAIS technology) fabricated on Fujitsu’s standard 65nm CMOS technology.
16-Bit Industrial DAC with ±10V and 4-20mA Outputs from Maxim
Maxim has introduced the MAX5661 16-bit, industrial digital-to-analog converter (DAC) with two precision, high-voltage output circuits. This DAC features unprecedented integration by incorporating a voltage-output amplifier, current-output amplifier, and pass transistors on the same silicon.
TI claims smallest 16-bit DAC in tiny SC70 package
Texas Instruments has introduced the industry’s first single-channel digital-to-analog converter (DAC) family available in tiny SC70 packages. The DAC8411 family of 8- to 16-bit, pin-compatible products features low-power operation of 80 uA at 1.8 V, a wide power supply range of 1.8 V to 5.5 V and a settling time of 6 us (typical).
Pin- and Software-Compatible, Multichannel DACs from Maxim
Maxim Integrated Products has introduced a family of quad (MAX5134/MAX5135) and dual (MAX5136/MAX5137), 16-bit and 12-bit digital-to-analog converters (DACs) which are pin and software compatible. These multichannel DACs are designed to address customers' environmental concerns about power consumption.
Differential RF/IF Amplifiers From Analog Devices
Analog Devices has announced two new ultra-low-distortion differential amplifiers that set new performance standards for linearity and power consumption. The ADL5561 and ADL5562 differential amplifiers efficiently drive high-speed, high-IF sampling ADCs (analogue-to-digital converters) required by today’s advanced communications systems. The ADL5561 and ADL5562 are capable of maintaining performance while driving ADCs up to 500 MHz, exceeding ...
Lowest power differential ADC drivers from TI enable highest accuracy conversion
A new fully differential amplifier family from Texas Instruments drives the highest accuracy data conversion across single- and multi-channel successive approximation register (SAR) and delta-sigma analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) in a wide range of applications, including industrial, medical and audio. The THS4521, THS4522 and THS4524 provide the industry’s best performance to power ratio, making the devices well-suited for applications...
