PXI Microwave Multiplexers range extended with 50GHz modules
Pickering Interfaces has expanded its 40-785B PXI Microwave Multiplexers range with new 50GHz modules. These new modules are single or dual 6-channel multiplexers with relays mounted on the front panel.
Recycled TV signals power the British countryside
We have heard a lot about the digital switchover recently, but now it turns out it has come in use in more ways than one. The TV broadcast frequencies that were leftover from the switchover are going to plug the broadband gap in a part of rural Monmouthshire. This pilot scheme will see TV white space used to send a high-speed broadband signal from a standard mast.
PMICs offer lowest standby power with high efficiency
To increase battery life and efficiency, the MAX77650 / MAX77651 power management ICs (PMICs) from have been laucnhed by Maxim Integrated. Now designers of Bluetooth headphones, activity monitors, smart garments, smartwatches, and other size-constrained devices no longer need to worry about battery time.
