The SX1261 and SX1262 LoRa transceivers from Semtech are in stock at Mouser Electronics. Designed for extended battery life with just 4.2mA of active receive current consumption, the SX126x sub-GHz radio transceivers are ideal for long-range RF wireless applications and are fully compliant with the physical layer requirements of the LoRaWAN specification released by the LoRa Alliance.
Bringing analogue signals into the digital world
Reading analogue signals from the real world and then turning them into digital signals that a microcontroller (MCU) can understand is one of the most difficult tasks you will face when developing MCU-based sensor applications.
Mixed signal ICs hit a new shipment milestone
A significant milestone has been announced by Dialog Semiconductor. The company has shipped over 3.5 billion Configurable Mixed-signal ICs (CMICs) to date. The milestone validates Dialog’s configurable technology, including the highly successful GreenPAK product family, as the choice for the market.
Analogue integrated circuit design for reliability solutions
A software product that meets the challenges of designing high reliability analogue and mixed-signal Integrated Circuits (ICs) for automotive, medical, industrial, and aerospace and defence applications has been introduced by Cadence Design Systems. The product is called the Legato Reliability Solution which provides analogue designers with the tools they need to manage their design’s reliability throughout the product life c...
High-speed optical power meter supports photonics alignment apps
The new F-712.PM1 high speed optical power meter from precision photonics alignment manufacturer PI (Physik Instrumente) converts optical signals and currents of photodiodes into a high resolution, logarithmic analog voltage signal. Its high bandwidth of 20kHz enables faster optical alignment, when used in conjunction with PI’s high speed FMPA photonics alignment systems for SiP (Silicon Photonics) applications.
