Stereo audio DAC in stock at Mouser
Authorised distributor Mouser Electronics is now shipping the new BD34302EKV MUS-IC series 32-bit stereo audio digital/analogue converter (DAC) chip from ROHM Semiconductor.
It delivers high-quality spatial audio for smart speakers, digital audio players and high-resolution audio applications.
This DAC chip integrates ROHM's exceptional sound quality design technology, including high sampling data weighted averaging (DWA), that enhances total harmonic distortion (THD) performance (SNR 130dB) while delivering higher resolution and improved natural sound quality with an exclusive HD monaural mode.
The BD34302EKV MUS-IC also offers an automatic mode-switching function that allows users to easily switch between pulse code modulation (PCM) and direct stream digital (DSD), sampling frequencies (32khz to 1536khz), two channels of finite impulse-response (FIR) filters, and two different DWA algorithms.
Spatial reverberation, quietness, and dynamic range are produced while preserving the natural "texture" of musical instruments with direct stream digital frequencies (2.8 MHz, 5.6 MHz, 11.2 MHz or 22.5 MHz) in two-channel stereo, single-channel mono or HD mono.
Multi-bit data input and high sampling frequency make the BD34302EKV MUS-IC the most versatile converter in its class.
The ROHM Semiconductor BD34302EKV evaluation board, also available to order from Mouser, offers a complete platform for easy demonstration and prototyping with the BD34302EKV MUS-IC DAC chip.
This evaluation board includes a USB 2-wire conversion board, enabling simple connection to a PC running the included HDAC Control software.
