Microprocessors deliver enhanced performance, security
Business notebooks and laptops are the target for AMD’s latest series of Ryzen microprocessors.
The Ryzen 7Pro 4750U is the first business microprocessor built on a 7nm manufacturing process and AMD’s Zen 2 architecture.
It offers the most cores and threads in an ultra-thin business notebook and is said to be up to 33% faster than the competition.
The 7nm process delivers an up to 2x improvement on power efficiency over previous platforms, and it is designed to deliver up to 20+ hours of battery life on a premium platform.
Better idle detection means idle components are moved to lower power states fast and improved activity detection gets them back to full performance fast.
Enhanced power state selection reduces the penalty of power state selections.
The processors are fully optimised for remote work capabilities and designed to take business computing to the next level with multi-threading performance for modern productivity.
Enterprise designs from HP and Lenovo powered by AMD Ryzen PRO 4000 Series Mobile Processors are expected to be available worldwide starting in the first half of 2020, with anywhere-anytime productivity, multiple layers of security features, seamless manageability and reliable longevity.
