Micros
Microcontroller for automotive body applications from NEC
NEC Electronics Europe today announced a new microcontroller for automotive body applications. The V850E/CAG4-M is a member of NEC Electronics’ powerful 32-bit RISC microcontroller family with embedded FlexRay interface. Offering high performance, large memory and fully-fledged communication interfaces, it is especially suited for high-end gateway and other body applications.
The V850E/CAG4-M extends the popular V850 32-bit microcontroller family into the high-performance range, with the FlexRay and MediaLB interfaces supporting emerging standards for communication within automotive applications.
CapaThe Multi-LIN master macro can connect all 6 LIN channels very efficiently, with minimum CPU interaction. The FPU and 80 MHz RISC performance also make the V850E/CAG4-M an attractive proposition for new fields such as diagnostics and high-end server concepts.
